a. Participants must register for the competition as a team
b. Teams can consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 members.
c. Team leader must be a student of a Nigerian tertiary institution.
d. Participants who are not students will be disqualified at any point it is discovered.

c. Participants must submit either an ID and or a letter of identification from the school which is subject to verification.
a. Teams are required to work on projects based on the selected thematic areas.
b. Adherence to project submission deadlines and guidelines is mandatory.
a. A panel of qualified judges will assess projects based on predefined criteria, including innovation, impact, usability, and technical proficiency.
a. Participants will present their projects to the judging panel, fellow participants, and potentially the local community.
b. Presentations provide an opportunity to showcase the work and explain the problem-solving approach.
a. Winners will be announced during a closing ceremony.
b. Prizes and incentives include cash rewards, internships with tech companies, mentorship opportunities, and support for implementing winning projects in collaboration with local organizations or partners.
c. Winners will receive cash rewards disbursed in batches.
a. Participants will have the opportunity to network, showcase their projects, and gather feedback after the formal judging and award announcements.
a. Winning teams will be supported in implementing their projects, with their work showcased to the community and stakeholders.
a. Participants are expected to comply with all rules and guidelines set forth by the AOS organizing committee.
b. Any violation may result in disqualification.
